Data and purposes
To deliver and secure the website, the hosting service processes technical connection data and may log your IP address, access time, requested page, browser information and errors. Hosting also generates statistics from server logs through Analog, AWStats and Webalizer to understand site usage. The purposes and legitimate interests are secure operation, troubleshooting, abuse prevention and improving the site’s operation (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). This site has no accounts or forms of its own and integrates no browser analytics or advertising tools of its own.
Your enquiries
When you contact us by phone or email, we use your contact details and information you provide to reply and prepare a quotation. The basis is steps requested by the individual before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), or our legitimate interest in communicating with business partners’ representatives (Article 6(1)(f)), as applicable. Please provide only necessary information; without sufficient contact details we may be unable to reply. Forms and the configurator are on edmarom.ro and are covered by the main privacy notice.
Optional map and recipients
Google Maps loads only when you activate it, on the basis of consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and applicable device-storage rules). Hosting is provided through Zooku Solutions SRL. Authorised staff handling your enquiry and necessary hosting, email and maintenance providers may access relevant data; authorities may receive it where required by law. Activating the map sends technical data to Google Ireland Limited and may associate activity with your Google account if you are signed in. See Google’s privacy policy.
Transfers and retention
Google may process data outside the EEA. Google’s transfer information explains the applicable mechanisms; consent to load a map does not replace transfer safeguards. Enquiry data is retained while handling the enquiry and related discussions; if it leads to a contract, legal obligations and the need to perform the contract or defend legal rights apply. Technical-data retention is determined by troubleshooting and security needs, the hosting service’s log and backup rotation, and, for incidents, the investigation and any relevant legal claims. There is no single period covering all these records. The site’s local preference expires after 180 days; data received by Google follows its policy.
Your rights and contact
Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw map consent in the widget or Cookie settings without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact office@edmarom.ro to exercise your rights or ask about recipients, safeguards and retention. We normally respond within one month and explain any lawful extension. You may complain to ANSPDCP. This site does not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
