Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Abroll and Skip containers?
An Abroll container is pulled onto the truck by a hook and travels on rollers and rails; the range is usually 5–40 m³. A Skip (Absetz) container is lifted by two arms and chains, usually at 4–10 m³. Start with your truck’s lifting system.
What is a City container?
A smaller, shorter hooklift container for light commercial vehicles and trucks working in narrow streets. EDMAROM manufactures 2.5–20 m³ City containers. Their hook interface differs from standard Abroll: specify the exact vehicle system.
Where are EDMAROM containers manufactured?
At the EDMAROM PROD 2007 factory in Ștefăneștii de Jos, Ilfov County, Romania.
Do the containers follow DIN 30722 and DIN 30720?
Abroll can be configured to DIN 30722-1 (1570 mm hook) or NF R17-108 class 2 (1425 mm hook); Skip uses the DIN 30720 reference. The applicable standard and conformity are confirmed in the ordered configuration’s documentation.
Can I buy through a public tender?
Yes. We participate in public tenders and provide the technical sheet and drawing for the configuration specified in the tender.
When will I receive the containers?
Typical production takes 1–2 weeks, depending on configuration and quantity, with a 12-month standard warranty. We deliver in Europe..
