Choose the platform around its load, loading method and restraints. Volume is not the primary criterion for a platform.

What matters

Ramps may allow machinery to drive on but need geometry and local-load checks. Attachment points and deck load distribution must suit the actual load.

Prepare before requesting a quote

  • What are the load’s mass, dimensions and footprint?
  • Will loading use ramps, a forklift or a crane?
  • How is the load restrained and where does it bear on the platform?

What load can the platform carry?

Permissible weight is defined on the drawing for the load, support points, restraints and vehicle. Platform dimensions alone do not define capacity.
